Collecting and using your information
Valet Finance provides premium financing and lending services through insurance brokers, carriers, and related platform integrations. Borrowers generally work with their insurance broker in connection with a premium finance transaction, while Valet Finance processes personal information as part of originating, administering, servicing, and maintaining records relating to those financing arrangements.
Valet handles personal information provided in connection with premium financing arrangements through insurance brokers and related processes. Valet does not store payment card details.
We may collect, use, and process personal information for purposes reasonably connected to our services, including to:
- generate and manage Premium Finance Agreements and related records;
- originate, administer, and service financing arrangements;
- process and administer payments;
- communicate with borrowers, brokers, carriers, financial institutions, and service providers;
- maintain business, legal, audit, and compliance records;
- protect against fraud, unauthorized activity, and security risks;
- respond to questions, service requests, and privacy-related requests;
- improve our systems, operations, and website functionality.
Where required or appropriate, consent may be obtained through the Premium Finance Agreement and related borrower documents.
Sharing of your information
We do not sell personal information.
We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to:
- insurance brokers and insurance carriers involved in a financing transaction;
- payment processors and financial institutions involved in payment administration;
- third-party service providers that support hosting, storage, communications, security, and operations;
- professional advisors, auditors, insurers, and similar service providers;
- regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other authorities where required or permitted by law;
- successor organizations in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business.
